Five instruments that run on your model, not someone else's.

Story creation, chat, drafting, persona design and audio production. Each one talks to the local AI and voicebox you already run. Nothing leaves the machine unless you export it.

Signal Character
Story creation · voicebox

Build characters, arcs and scenes with a local model reading over your shoulder. It suggests; you decide what lands in the manuscript. Read any scene back aloud through the local voicebox.

Signal Chat
Local chat · personas · voicebox

A chat client pointed at your own endpoint. Create personas, switch between them mid-thread, and let the voicebox read the reply back.

Signal Draft
Markdown documents

Plain markdown, start to finish. The model drafts, rewrites and outlines in place. The file you export is a file, not a database row.

Signal Persona
Persona construction · GPP / PPS · voicebox

Genuine People Personalities and Purposeful Perspective Shifting, written as structured fields. Assign a voice while you build, then drop the persona straight into Chat, Character or Producer.

Signal Producer
Voice-audio production

Script, cast and render spoken audio through the local voicebox. Segments, takes and voice assignments stay editable until you're happy with the cut.

How this works
Bring your own model

Every tool points at a local endpoint you configure — the same one you already use. No API keys held here, no cloud inference, no per-token bill.

Voicebox, not a voice vendor

Chat, Character, Persona and Producer all speak through your local voicebox. Voices are yours to add, name and reassign. Audio renders on your hardware.

Your data, in a file

Work is stored in the browser and exports to JSON whenever you ask. Import it into another tool, another browser, or a pipeline. No accounts, no sync, no lock-in.

Before you start

A local model server on the machine or the network, and a voicebox if you want audio. Export early and often — browser storage is convenient, not durable. Local-first is a design principle here, not a budget decision.
